As of July 1, 2023, Louisiana is leaping from the old energy codes (ASHRAE 90.1-2007 for commercial buildings and 2009 IECC for single-family & duplex residential) to 2021 IECC for both. This session will provide practitioners with an “under the hood” look at the key changes in the code—both what it calls for and how it will be enforced—from practitioners who served on the State’s Energy Code Commission last Fall.
