Dig into your closet to find your reddest tie, your boldest blazer, or your best accent piece — it’s time for the biggest party on our calendar!
Join us for AIA Pride Night, our Annual Membership Meeting, where we’ll celebrate our chapter, discuss where we’re headed next, and do it all with hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, raffle prizes, door prizes, and recognition of our best volunteers in tow. Wear a touch of AIA red and show your chapter pride as we come together as a community of architects and designers.
What’s on the agenda:
- Committee-Hosted Happy Hour — Mingle with fellow members and get face time with our committee chairs. Curious what a committee does or how to get involved? This is your night to ask.
- Raffles & Door Prizes — Because what’s a party without a little luck?
- Your Voice, Our Roadmap — We want to hear from you. What’s been working? What do you want more of? Help us shape a membership experience built to support your growth as an architect or designer.
- Our Winning Design in-house exhibit, celebrating 24 Corbel Awards given during our Design Awards gala in July.
- A Year in Review — We’ll walk through the highlights, milestones, and developments that shaped AIA New Orleans this year.
- 2027 Board of Directors Elections— Cast your vote for the leaders who will guide our chapter forward. Open positions are:
- President-Elect
- Vice President
- Treasurer (2-year term)
- Young Architects Forum Director
- Associate Director
- EDI Director
Learn more about each role, the time commitment, and submit your nomination here: Nomination Form. Nominations close September 11 at 5:30 PM — nominations can also be made from the floor at the meeting.
- Bylaw Changes — Members will vote on proposed updates to our chapter bylaws.
A quorum of 47 members is required to conduct chapter business. Your attendance isn’t just appreciated — it’s essential to a successful election and vote. Please make plans now to join us!
This is a members-only event (architects and designers only)— bring your AIA pride (and your red) and help us plan for an even bigger 2027.
See you in red!
