Women in Architecture: 2023 Mentor Dinner

$200 – $2000The Women in Architecture Mentor Dinner facilitates the exchange of insights, guidance, and industry knowledge, helping women navigate the challenges and opportunities within the architecture profession. By creating a supportive and empowering environment, we contribute to the personal and professional growth of women architects, fostering diversity and inclusivity in the field. We hope that you will join us on Thursday, December 14th from 6-8:30pm at Restaurant August (301 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, LA 70130). This is a co-ed event and professionals of all levels of experience are encouraged to attend. The event has sold out within days of releasing tickets for the past 4 years and promises to do so again with a limited, captive audience of 75-100 guests.
Event Schedule:
6 – 6:30pm: Welcome and Pre-Happy Hour
6:30 – 7pm: Dinner
7 – 7:45pm: Speaker and Presentation
7:45 – 8:30pm: Closing and Happy Hour
This year’s speaker will be Liz Camuti, Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture, Tulane University
Liz Camuti, PLA, is a landscape architect and tenure-track Assistant Professor at Tulane. Her work focuses on design for climate adaptation, with an emphasis on reimagining working and highly engineered landscapes in the Gulf Coast region as sites of ecological cohabitation. Liz’s expertise is in visual storytelling and geospatial representation aimed at effectively communicating complete ecological, economic, and social systems to public audiences as part of an engaged design process.
