Each year, the Green Project reclaims 2,000,000 pounds of usable materials from the landfill and resells them at an affordable price to the community. Their overarching mission is to demonstrate that these reclaimed goods have value.

Salvations exemplifies this mission in real time by pairing reclaimed materials with beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind design featured in their annual Salvage Design Competition.

Derived from “salvage” and “creations,” Salvations is a Salvage Design Competition that culminates in an evening exhibition celebrating all things salvage.

Aligning with our environmentally-minded mission, we source Salvations locally, featuring New Orleans-based vendors, businesses and food options.

The AIA Center for Design will host the Salvations exhibit at 1000 Saint Charles Avenue. The exhibit will be on display Monday thru Friday from 1:30pm-5:30pm, November 6-30.
