COTE Roundtable: Architecture for Levee Systems/Industrial Canal Locks

Free – $20.00Join us for an engaging Continuing Education roundtable hosted by AIA New Orleans Committee on the Environment (COTE) as we dive into the critical issues of levee systems, industrial canal locks, coastal erosion, and resilient design strategies amidst climate change. This interactive session will be led by Joe Lavigne (President, Lavigne Associates Architects) and Alex Kolker (Associate Professor, Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium) to explore the intersections of sustainable design in the face of rising sea levels and increasing storm intensity. Our roundtable will be held October 17th at 12pm at the AIA Center for Design (1000 St. Charles Ave.).
This roundtable will be worth 1 LU/HSW (credit pending), and lunch will be provided. Our continuing education events are free for members/Professional Affiliates, and $20 for non-member architects.
