AIA New Orleans presents a Town Hall meeting with Tammie Jackson, Director of the New Orleans Department of Safety and Permits and Jay Dufour, City of New Orleans Chief Building Official.

The Town Hall will focus on:

1. Permitting review and inspection processes relative to the new building code adoptions, including the 2021 IECC.
2. Permitting coordination with other agencies, including Sewerage and Water board, Department of Public Works, Parks and Parkways, Flood Protection Authority, Lakeview Management District, Entergy, the Health Dept, etc.

Registrants should submit questions in advance of the meeting in order to help focus the discussion (included in your registration).

The Town Hall will be held in-person at the AIA New Orleans Center for Architecture and Design, 1000 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans LA 70115 on Wednesday September 6, 2023, from 1:00-2:30pm.
